algc is having a huge yard sale.
As well as a spay/neuter registration
at the clinic. There will be furniture, appliances, household items and
much more. Come help support algc!

DOGTOBERFEST

2008 Dogtoberfest Event
The first Saturday in October dogs and their owners converge on the Biggerstaff Park in Dallas, NC for a day of fun, food, games, prizes, vendors and limited edition T-shirts. Dogtoberfest has the annual signature event for algc since 2000.
The theme for Dogtoberfest 2008 was "Dancing With Your Dog". Ann Isenhour and her English Setter, Banjo, put on a demo instruction.

HOPE FOR GASTON
On May 2, 2009, Animal Control took part in Hope for Gaston - a collaborative effort of area churches and other organizations to reach out to citizens of the Highland neighborhood in Gastonia. Animal Control employees and volunteers assisted residents by providing information on spay/neuter and gave out free pet food, collars, leashes and treats. |

RUN FOR THE MONEY
Run for the Money has been the largest fundraiser for algc for the last several years.
5K run ~ 2K walk
GASTON COUNTY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION SPONSORS EVENT
Gaston County Community Foundation has been sponsoring this event in April, since 2002 and has matched donations on the average of 70% each of the years.
